Volunteer Life: In Pictures

Working with animals…

Much of the work at LWC is centred around the care of the animals, where that’s orphan care, orphan sitting (only when is necessary and tends to be at certain times of the year), orphan feeding, observations, integrations, clinical work or relocations.

Working with people…

There are also opportunities to join our outreach or education teams when they visit schools and communities. get involved with projects like tree planting, fuel briquettes or teaching environmental education.

Working with projects…

Projects can involve a variety of work, whether it’s making displays for local school children, signs for the centre, info sheets for orphan care, surveying the wilderness trails for birds or mammals, or even start your own if you have any great ideas!
