Wildlife trade, deforestation and habitat loss…the threats facing wildlife today are ultimately human-driven. We dream of a Malawi where everyone respects and protects wildlife, and so we work with local government and likeminded organisations to deliver education and advocacy initiatives which inspire and empower people to safeguard their natural heritage for future generations.
Our target audiences range from decision makers and law enforcers through to local communities and the youth and we tailor the message and mode of communication for each one. We run the country’s largest environmental education programme, reaching over 55,000 school children a year from 394 schools, and our advocacy and campaign programmes have been instrumental in gaining support for key enforcement initiatives.
