Volunteer programme

If you want to work with wildlife and are passionate about conservation then our volunteer programme is for you. Volunteers can undertake placements of between two and 12 weeks, supporting the wildlife rescue and rehabilitation team at our award winning sanctuary, volunteering on our elephant and primate research at Vwaza Wildlife Reserve, or working on our environmental education and community outreach projects. You can choose to specialise or do a mix of projects and, whilst your placement is tailored to your skills and experience, full training is provided.
