Learn all about the rehabilitation of wild animals with our intensive 7 day Wildlife Rehabilitation Experience based in Malawi.
Upcoming course dates: 7th March, 4th July & 15th August 2017.
The Lilongwe Wildlife Trust is Malawi’s leading welfare and conservation charity and our wildlife sanctuary, Lilongwe Wildlife Centre, is an award-winning project, reputed by PASA as one of Africa’s best sanctuaries. Every year the Centre receives many injured or orphaned wildlife that have become victims of the illegal pet and bushmeat trade, which are still prevalent in Malawi.
LWC is home to almost 200 individuals including primates, antelopes, carnivores, birds and reptiles. All of our animals are given the best care by an experienced team of wildlife rehabilitators and veterinarians. Right from the start, the entire rehabilitation process is focused on the potential to release animals back in the wild, whenever possible.
