A brand new season of Malawi Wildlife Rescue is now airing worldwide! Follow our team in their efforts to rescue and rehabilitate wild animals across Malawi. The first season, broadcast throughout 2020, captured the drama of life at the frontline of conservation.
The new episodes will continue to follow our team as they work – often against huge odds – to rescue injured, orphaned and abused animals and give them another chance at a life back in the wild.
Filmed at Lilongwe Wildlife Centre – Malawi’s only wildlife sanctuary – and around the country, the show will give viewers a dramatic insight into the threats facing wildlife in Malawi.
“It was great to see so many people respond so enthusiastically to the first series”, says Jonny Vaughan, CEO of the Lilongwe Wildlife Trust. “We received so many amazing messages of support, as well as some very kind donations, which meant a huge amount to our team. They work incredibly hard to give wildlife in Malawi the protection it deserves and we’re excited to show even more of this work to a wider audience through the second series. I hope people who watch the show will be inspired to find out more about Malawi and may even consider coming out to volunteer with our team.”
