In November last year, 26 Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Honorary Consuls united to share a message of support for Malawi’s efforts to combat illegal wildlife trade, and remind all foreign nationals of the extent of Malawi’s laws on wildlife crime. They took part in a group photo call and signed a letter which was then sent to H.E. President Peter Mutharika and subsequently published in the Nation newspaper.

Now their portraits have been translated into a billboard, poster, and press campaign to again underline that message of solidarity, a most welcome move considering the impression of isolation that the COVID crisis has created. The billboards have been funded by GIZ and the space kindly donated by ADL.
